This
town is located between Tinguindin and Cotija, it receives its
visitor with its clean streets and warm treatment. Tocumbo has
acquired fame because of its bathing resorts, but mainly for
its cold fruit flavored popcycles, which are known and enjoyed
internationally through its distributor "La Flor de Michoacan"
and "La Michoacana". Among the constructions of the
town appears a large size modern temple that was designed by
architect Ramirez Vazquez, who designed today's Basilica of
Guadalupe in Mexico City.
