It's one of the most beautiful indigenous communities of this region, since its inhabitants conserve their rich traditions starting from their dressing, festivities, and up to their beautiful Purepecha language. You can't miss visiting the 16th century Franciscan Temple and Ex-convent which was founded by Frair Jacobo Daciano. This convent assemble has a large atrium where a perron and a beautiful decorated atrial cross are highlighted. The traditional Atole Fair is organized during Holy Week.
