The
city of "Los Reyes, located in the sugar cane region, is
an important economic generator because of its sugar mills "Sta.
Clara" and "San Sebastian". It's worth visiting
the "mercadito" (small market) downtown to enjoy a
regional dish. It has an extensive and wooded main garden and
in front, the 16th century Temple of "Los Santos Reyes"
(the Three Kings), which has the only altar-piece façade
in the Diocese of Zamora; it's convenient to visit the Platerasque
16th century chapel of San Gabriel, founded by Friar Juan de
San Miguel, which is located to the east of the city, right
in the neighborhood of the same name. A few kilometers distance,
the famous "Chorros del Varal" are found, a beautiful
spectacle with an extensive waterfall that measures 40 meters
high and 40 meters wide, that in order to enjoy it forward it
puts the visitor's skills on trail, which without a doubt will
live an unforgettable adventure.
