Jiquilpan
has among its attractions the Center of Historic Studies of
the Mexican Revolution, where the records of General Lazaro
Cardenas del Rio, who was born in this prosperous city, and
those of General Francis Mujica are guarded. Accompanying this
center, there is a complete and interesting museum dedicated
to General Cardenas. Another site of interest is the Public
Library, which has murals painted by Clemente Orzco in 1940;
furthermore the visitor shouldn't miss visiting the Temple and
Ex-hospital of St. Francis, which was built in the 18th century.
