San
Lorenzo has a temple dedicated to the Saint that gives his name
to the town. This historical monument conserves its XVI century
façade with an atrium cross of 1823. The old Hospital's
chapel is found next to the temple; a simple nave with a two
part roof. The villagers, mainly the women, elaborate cross
stitch embroidered tablecloths and table napkins, as well as
rag dolls wearing indigenous clothing, carrying jars on their
back, mills, "molcajetes" , and "metates";
or representing activities and occupations; they are often used
to put up "nacimientos" of indigenous touch.
