This beach and the immediate one, called San Juan de Alima port, are another paradise of the Coast of Michoacan where among exuberant vegetation and the singing of the birds, a pleasant tranquility is enjoyed.

It is known as "Blackhead Point" on the navigation charts. It has hotel services and arbors ("Palapas") with delicious cooking and the pleasant treatment of its people.
